Fine craft meets fine art featuring 24-carat gold Italian smalti from the legendary Orsoni furnace in Venice. Orsoni has been hand-crafting its gold leaf mosaic and Venetian smalti the very same way since 1888, and it remains the only live-fire furnace still burning in the heart of Venice. This is the gold that restored the Basilica of San Marco and shimmers on the spires of the Sagrada Familia, so when you stand in front of one of these new pieces, you're looking at more than a century of Venetian fire and craft, folded into work made right here in my Minneapolis studio.
